This animation was made after a masterclass by Barry Purves at Niaf. Barry Purves made a lot clear about animation using cut-out animation / mutiplane. I had a school assignment to make a lipsinc animation. I combined my gained knowlegde with the assignment but focused mostly on the movement of the character.

One Dot Zero_Cascade 2010

During the OneDotZero_Cascade 2010, 40 cross disciplinary creatives were chosen to work together in 4 groups. I was part of the Grey Area. During the cascade we were given a brief 'better vision of an Utopia'.

After tons of discussion we ended up with the Uto Power Station 'The Anti-Doom-Dome' project. One can find more information about this on http://www.isthisthegreyarea.blogspot.com/

For the final presentation, the group decided to have an animation, which i made and this is it: George! This animation is sort of the introduction (or it sets the scene) and afterwards we go into details about what the 'anti-doom-dome' is all about.

Overview how everything was during the OneDotZero week. And guess what: we are in it!!. During our presentations they filmed a bit, and we made it into the clip - animation, dome and bike powered presentation!! Big thanks to the organisers and to the Anti-Doom-Dome! :)

Little Shorts

Little Shorts is a compilation of serveral short animation test which I made during my MA in Animation at UWE (Bristol). These tests have enabled me to 'escape' from my narrative background and to explore the medium itself. I enjoyed working on these animations as I worked with diverse techniques and therefore gained more creative and technical insights into animation.
